I am researching my fathers running club. If there is anyone with a snippet of information on the West London Harriers who I believe folded sometime in the 1960s. The clubs home was the Paddington Recreation track London, I remember running around that track when I was a kid. All I can find on the web/social media is a West London Harriers lapel badge on Ebay and its described as rare.. I Have my fathers running medals so here is a shot of there motif.
Thanks for reading

Wasn’t that where Roger Bannister trained? If so, I believe the track still exists, though will no doubt have been refurbished since the club folded. Not sure if he would have been a member of the club... think he did most of his official running for Oxford Uni.
Oh yes taught me respect the speed these guys could ride at. Worked out from old photo that the club running vest must have been red with white red white stripes. Going to have a t shirt made up with the WLH motif and maybe the stripes
That would be cool to see... I assume many clubs back then folded due to lack of interest, the jogging boom in the 70s and 80s would have come too late. While I know nothing of this club itself, it would be great to think some of them could well be resurrected one day.
Thinking of adding west London harriers, west country chapter to the t shirt. My daughter wants one and she is working up to 10k. So maybe it will live again
