Officially a Runner ... Really???

I’ve just completed W6R3. After the 25 minute ‘run’ (I think I regressed from tortoise 🐢 pace to snail 🐌 pace today!), Michael Johnson told me he considered me officially a runner. That made me laugh out loud!

I’m still proud of how far I have come in six short weeks, but I really can’t justify the ‘runner’ label just yet. Am I the only one who feels this? I know I am a perfectionist, so that doesn’t help.

Michael was correct, by completing that run you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, congratulations.

I know what you mean !! I’d hardly call my self a runner more a slow jog plodder ! But you have done it now it’s all long endurance runs. Embrace the snail and enjoy the glow of success !!
