Completed and felt good. Can’t believe only 1 run left to go. Bring on Saturday.
Question for those more experienced, I’m agonisingly close to 5km (4.91 today), and I know it’s not the goal, but I’m close enough to want to hit it in my last run. What’s the best way to shave a bit of time off? A marginally quicker pace throughout? Slow start and build the pace? Or throw everything at the last km or so?

Elite runners tend to do their runs with negative splits ie. the second half is faster than the first.
Unless you do an extended warmup to overcome the Toxic Ten then you are always going to find the first few minutes tougher than the later minutes. You need to knock 11 seconds off each km, so it may be a bit of a tall order.
