My body isn’t making these last runs easy. Between the hot flushes disturbing my sleep and the Runners Bum disturbing my awake, it’s been a tricky week.
I’ve done lots of extra exercises, been using my Pilates spikey balls to ease out my glutes, thighs and calves with ab crunches, clams etc etc to get my core sorted. Found the cross trainer at the gym was good too.
The hot flushes get me up extra early, so I may as well make the most of it: 5.45am run 😩. Today’s run was still uncomfortable but I did it and I don’t feel as bad as I did on Monday. I’ve got the name of a very good osteopath if it all goes to pot but I’m going to see how it goes for now. Got a lumpy roller coming in the post today so I’m going to spend the weekend laying on that and hopefully ease my way to graduation.
I am a bit fed up that graduation will probably be uncomfortable too (aiming for Monday now) but I am nearly there and I’m happy that what I am doing is helping. I really don’t want to stop with only one to go, I’m just going a bit slower.
Meanwhile me and youngest son are going to check our local Parkrun out tomorrow morning with a view to joining in next Saturday!!
