This may be a silly question but is it ok to leave more than 1 day between runs? I did WK 1 run 1 four days ago and want to do run 2 today. I won’t do this regularly but have not been able to go the last few days. I don’t have to do run 1 again do I?

Leaving too much gap between runs?

If you don’t do it regularly then that’s absolutely fine! Some people need to take longer than 1 day and listen to their body, some find that they can only have 1 rest day before they go back to it! It’s really down to the person, good luck on your run!

If you feel ready move on to run 2, if it doesn’t work out you can always go back and repeat the previous run. I tend to not run on a weekend that way I get a couple of days rest, which always makes my Monday morning run the easiest one of the week. So with four days rest you should be like a gazelle on run 2! 😂

You’re good to go. So long as you’re not taking weeks off between runs you’ll keep developing. It’s good to form a habit of running every other day, or on set days each week, but sometimes life gets in the way, and it doesn’t suddenly undo the work you’ve done. Have a good one.
