So Saturday saw me do my last C25K run of this program. I did a 5km route and ran for 38minutes. Today I set out on my first independent run. I managed to run for 30 minutes but I did miss my mentor guiding me! So to anyone doubting their ability trust me you can do it!!
I've done Week 9 Run 3 but it's not the end! - Couch to 5K
I've done Week 9 Run 3 but it's not the end!
Good work... and nice to see you back at 30 minutes for the time being... consolidation is supposed to be nice and relaxed. You’ve spotted the thing about running there I see... as we cross a finish line, we look back and see it’s changed into another start line... enjoy the next part of your journey.
Thank you. I was just pleased to get back from work and still go back out. Going out to work is still a novelty!! I'm even looking at buying some trainers as I've done this programme in my daughters shoes👟
Well... you deserve them!
I work from home all the time, but cabin fever still got me a little... actually finding it strange getting back to my normal, and that was probably not much more than lockdown really... can imagine everything is really strange actually physically going back. Well done getting that run in.
👏👏👏🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🥳🎓
Congratulations, go to the C25K Healthunlocked Homepage to see the badge and the word Graduate next to your username.
You do get used to not having your mentor, I’ve done quite a few consolidation runs now without one. You know your route, so you could just listen to your music. I’ve bought a Fitbit Charge 3, and I’ve set it to let me know when I reach 5k, my goal being to hit it in 30 mins or under. Best time so far 32:29 mins, so nearly there.
I’ve got one more run until I graduate but this is my issue when I’m out there without the guidance, is there another app that anyone uses to help spur me on!!
Many congratulations on your graduation, fellow runner.

Keep running, keep smiling
I’ve been using the “10K runner” app Since graduating which helps you increase your distance and pace. There are fewer time prompts but still gives you intervals which I find a really helpful motivator. Good luck!!
Well done! Very impressed that you knocked 8 mins off too 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Well done!
Well done you! Same here , completed C25K on Friday. First independent run yesterday and when I looked at my strava I'd only done 1.4 k, I thought that's not nearly enough so I ran some more. Then I realised that was in miles not K! So I ended up running 5k after all.
I still play Jo and Wk 9 run to help keep me going!
Congrats 🥳
👏👏🙌🙌
Congratulations on graduating!
I was thinking of continuing to have mentor when I have finished on week 8 at mo.
