First 5 k run after completion

Hi

Just finished my 5 K run , 41 mins

Always find it difficult to actually go but pleased when I do and finish the run ! No enjoyment yet , still difficult/ slog at the end but got there and added 10 mins more onto my last running time !

So hopefully improving my stamina / endurance!

So wish I enjoyed running then the motivation would set in and I would look forward to the run instead of apprehension!

I will keep going

Congratulations on running your first 5K, if you wish, try the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura which are pace, speed and stamina, they are useful, after that if you run another 5K you may get a sub 40 minute time.

well done Hideaway, keep at it!

try running at a different time of the day, I find I don't enjoy it as much if I don't go first thing in the morning, it might just make a difference. Also you could try mixing your route up that also helps making it bit more interesting :))
