Well done, one ahead of me. I am also probably at about 4km and happy with that, aiming todo same as you and increase distance after achieving the completion. Good luck for your last run 🤞

How do you track your distance? I haven't bothered to see how far I go yet. I'm on W6, so starting to wonder whether I'll ever reach 5K!

Down load Strava. It tracks your distance and pace.

Well done. 3.8k is actually a pretty good distance when it comes to graduation (I was about the same and the vast majority are in the 3-4k range in 30 minutes at graduation). Once you graduate, spent a few weeks getting used to 30 minute running at any pace, and then just slowly begin building one run a week up and you will begin to see the distance stretch.

I found building distance after consolidating helped me build speed over shorter distances rather than trying just to run faster. In just over a year, I've gone from running my first ever 5k in 39 minutes, done to doing it in 27 minutes last night.

The world is, quite literally, at your feet. Good luck.

That’s a good aim, I aim for time rather than distance too. Good luck.
