Pinching myself!

Did I just run for 20 minutes?? Me, who did anything to avoid PE at school, got out of breath climbing the stairs and who thought running was something crazy people did.... I just completed W5R3!!!!

I’m beyond happy, never thought I’d get here as my C25k journey has been anything but smooth so far (I started in January, you get the idea 😂) And on the hottest day of the year so far too 😓...

I’m not saying it was easy and I can’t feel my legs but I’ve done it, so onwards and upwards.

And to anyone who is still working up to Week 5, if I can do it, you can. It’s been said so many times before but take it slowly, try and relax and above all, trust the programme, it really bloody works!!

Well done 👍 I’m only on week 2 and I’m dreading that week 5 run. I’m glad you did it, you must feel amazing 😉

I can’t lie, it’s a great feeling! I know it’s easy for me to say because I’ve done it now, but please don’t dread it. Admittedly, I spent all morning trying to talk myself out of going, but I’m so glad I did. Keep going, the programme will build you up gradually over the next few weeks so you’re physically ready for W5. Good luck!

Well done, you broke the mental barrier, first time I did C25K I used the following mantra:

If I can run for 20 minutes, then I can run for 25,

If I can run for 25 minutes, then I can run for 28,

If I can run for 28 minutes, then I can run for 30.

It served me very well and got me through, believe in yourself and the program; slow and steady every time.
