I have just started week 4, although I am enjoying it I find I am struggling later on in the day with really heavy swollen legs, I’m wondering if it’s the heat as well as the exercise, does anyone else experience anything similar?

I’m only in wk2 run2 but for the first time have noticed a swelling on my legs. It just under the knee cap and to the left. Same place on both legs for the next few day I’m going to use ice packs and rest.

I think my problem is I’m very overweight and don’t have supportive shoes. I’ve done the gait test and shoe finder search on the Brooks website and my new running shoes are coming this week, hoping they fit and help.
