Just completed W8R3 and have switched to morning runs now that the clocks have gone back. My legs feel heavier than when I used to run in the evening. Any ideas?

Advantages however include beautiful spectators......

Have you just got up? I tend to feel pretty stiff first thing in the morning. Maybe you could try some extra body loosening exercises before your run? I also like to sit on a hot water bottle for a bit before a winter run, warming up my legs.

I like the exercises in Danny Dreyer's Chi Running book: youtube.com/watch?v=ZEG-acA...

Or there's these more "dynamic" exercises runnersworld.com/run-nonsto...

Thanks! I'll try that. They're not so much stiff as probably not quite warmed up so stretching and warmth should help 👍

I think we all have optimum times for running. My legs ALWAYS feel dead after 6pm!!!

Wow what a fab place to run too :)
