Week 4 run 2 completed- it was tough but weirdly I felt ok - apart from heavy legs- during the jogging bits. But after each section my legs felt very wobbly and tired. Don’t think I running too fast- could barely class it as a trot and I’m not getting too puffed. Presume this is all normal? Worried I’m not doing something right!

YAY well done completing R2! Week four I found toughest after the first week. Might be worth checking your hydration re heavy legs - maybe your electrolytes too. I think I also had to start including calf stretches at this point too from recollection. try the above, it has helped me. no doubt the more experienced members can offer further advice
Thanks! I’ll investigate - not sure what electrolyte levels really means in practise although I have heard of them!
basically you take a effervescent tablet in water (like the vitamin C ones), before you run. it's the salts your body need to stay hydrated, sodium, potassium and magnesium. I drink one the night before and right before I go out on a jaunt.
