So I had to wait a week to do my final run. I took a week off due to a bad ear infection (not your normal running injury!).
I think I said before, each run has been a struggle and the last one certainly was last night, after a week off and in the heat, it felt horrible most of the way, but I did get a sprint in at the end and it was a great feeling to finish!
Like most I didn't hit the 5k, I clocked 4.34k which I am perfecty happy with, being one of those people who struggled with running for 2/3 mins at the start to run for 30 mins is amazing.
So for all those people on the journey, it can be done, I am 51 over weight and never ran in my life.
Next goal is to keep going and hopefully shed a few extra pounds and try to enjoy at least a few of the runs rather than just enjoying the finish!

Congratulations RunLeeB it’s a great feeling when you graduate 👏🏻👏🏻🏅🥳🥳 when I graduated I focused on getting to 5k and improving my times. The Nike Running Club App is good, guided runs with a trainer of various times and distances.....Good Luck with your continuing journey 👍
