Well done πŸ‘ Nothing worried about, just take it very slowly. Remember your inner tortoise 🐒 and will be fine. You have got this. Your amazing.

Thank you for giving me motivation ! I am really enjoying it so far , i will keep my speed down for week 5 , run 3 , as I do tend to show off and speed up when running past people who are walking πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ I mean i can run longer than 5 mins now , why shouldn't I haha .. when did you graduate ?

Yes. Going out in about 1hr as got in from work. Will still be using the app but W9 consolidation runs. Needs to comfortably that 30 minutes ok πŸ‘Œ before increasing distance.

Glad you liked the runs so far. This will make the runs to come easy.

A run πŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈ May look scary before you run it but it probably looks pleasant after it.

You will be doing great!

Hey πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ yes I do absolutely love the runs ! After each run I feel very proud of myself for what I've achieved .. I mean I remember looking at week 5 run 1 at the beginning and thought there is no way I could do this , but look here I am . Such a great app .. πŸ‘β€οΈ

When did you graduate?

Hi. I graduated some time ago. Last summer or autumn, I don’t remember. After that I moved to the Bridge to 10 k. You can join any time, also before completing C25K.

I think you should not be afraid of the runs. Some excitement before an unknown run is okay. But fear can pull you back. The latter was my case, and the C25K helped to combat that.

You seem to be doing just great. You will be going beyond the current C25K. πŸ˜€

I completed W5 R2 this morning- so far so good, but I am also nervous about the jump up to run 3. It makes me feel better to know you will be doing it on the same day as me!! We can do it!!!!

Hiiiii πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜› how did you find run 2 ? I absolutely loved it ! I ran alot slower this week than I did in week 4 as I didn't want to fail. But I found running slower actually made it easer for me ! Thinking to do the same for run 3.. I'm really looking forward to it.. as I was really really proud of myself for running twice for 8 mins each time haha πŸ˜› I am going to go for my run on Sunday .. will u be also ?

Jogmonkey profile image
Jogmonkey in reply to Alev86

Yes I kept it slow as it was so hot this morning and I listened to a podcast rather than my usual music - it was so much better. I really recommend Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcasts - before I knew it, the runs were over.

I enjoyed it so much more than I ever thought I would. I think I could have run longer so I am hoping Sunday’s run will be ok. I’m also finding it easier to do my run in the morning rather than the evening. Sending good vibes to you for Sunday!!😁

Yeh I find running slower has definitely been working for me too..

I'm listening to my Spotify at the moment with very upbeat running tunes , but would love to try out the podcast you mentioned , how could I find that ? Sorry not good with the technology πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ Thanks for the tip ..

If u feel you could have run for longer , then you've got nothing to worry about !! Sunday's run is going to be super easy for you ! 🌞 I find having lighter dinners a day before runs helps with my energy , coz sometimes I get weird bowel stitches otherwise haha ..

I do prefer morning runs too , I get excited a night before for waking up and going for a run haha.. never thought I'd say that in a million years .. but thanks to this app it has changed the way I feel about running so much.. generally do my runs between 11am and 12pm...

We can do this !! Bring on Sunday 🌞🌞

I am also crap with technology !!

So, I have copied this for you ....

If you have an iPhone you can use the Apple podcasts app to listen to podcasts.

The Podcasts app should already be downloaded on your phone so search your apps for β€˜Podcasts’. If it’s not, go to the app store and download it.

Open the Podcast app and go to the search page (click on the magnifying glass button in the navigation at the bottom).

A search box should appear at the top, next to another magnifying glass icon. Tap on this and type in the name of the podcast you want to find IN YOUR CASE TYPE β€˜HAPPY PLACE’ and Hit β€œenter” on your keyboard.

Choose the podcast you want from the search results and tap on it. This should take you to the podcast’s homepage.

Once you’re on the podcast homepage you’ll see a list of recent episodes. Tap on one to play it.

If you like what you hear, a subscribe button at the top of the page lets you subscribe for free. This means the app will automatically download the latest episodes to your library.

The Glennon Doyle and Ricky Gervais ones were truly inspirational. You will easily run for 45 minutes listening to these 🀣

Well done !! πŸ‘πŸ₯³ It was such a long and rewarding run.. we did it !

I got a stitch last few minutes , on a slightly uphill path , thought i was going to give up , but didn't. My face must have looked so funny for the people walking past πŸ˜‚

Do you take water with you on your runs ?

I sometimes get a very dry throat !

Bring on week 6 tomorrow πŸ’ͺ!!

Luvlollyboo profile image
Luvlollyboo in reply to Alev86
