Just got home from work after going via Tesco picking up the click and collect order and have zero motivation to go out, chinese and wine already planned for this evening as it is the end of my working wk til Monday.

Two thoughts in my head:

Get it done... you’ll be proud of yourself, and that Chinese and wine will taste so good!

Or

Would it make a difference if you ran this tomorrow? Could you benefit from a relaxed evening and fresher legs tomorrow when you haven’t had shopping to do?

There’s no wrong answer... just the right one for you at this moment.

Think it's going to be put off until tomorrow morning. Get up and go!

Do you struggle often to motivate yourself in the evening? Could always try and run in the mornings so you have the evening to yourself - that's what I prefer to do.

But yet again it is perfectly ok to have a day off from running sometimes and sometimes you do sign yourself up for a bad run when you are not motivated whatsoever.

Whatever is right for you really! :)

I could kick myself as I was wide awake at 5am and should of gone then but my excuse in my head was that my daughter (plays alot of football) who normally comes with me and is been a great support was fast asleep so I talked myself out of it. I m back to working full time next wk so I m going to have being pushing myself to get up and go in the morning before work otherwise it wont happen when i come home at night.

That is difficult when you usually do it with someone, but don't feel bad for trying to get a little bit of practise in from time to time!

I couldn't recommend the morning enough - yeah its absolute pain to wake up in the morning, I wake up at 5am and some days I want to scream, but it just gets it out the way and starts your day off a lot more productive! When I go back to work as well it's not realistic for me to do it at the end of the day either, so if you make a habit of it now it's less of a shock when you do put that into your working life routine (or that's what I like to think anyway) :)

It’s been hot today. Maybe go in the morning before the temp goes up?
