Let it all hang out <3

I ran week 8 run 1 yesterday which went brilliantly, but I think the new running gear really gave me the edge.

Up until about a week ago I've been running completely covered up because of how self conscious I am. I have been wearing hoodies and joggers that are now 2 sizes too big because of a lack of funds.

One I got to week 7 I ordered some running tights and a couple of new breathable t shirts and a new pair of trainers to say well done for not giving in.

I shaved 5 minutes off my running time!! I know its not about speed, but I was amazed at the difference the right gear has made... But it also made me feel brilliant.

I left the house thinking about how everyone could see my bum in skin tight clothes and how my stomach might look. Jiggling round in my new tshirts. I havnt been this size in 4 years (I've been on a diet as well as the couch 25k since january)It took all of about ten minutes for me to feel unstoppable!!

I'm not sure what the point of this post is actually - love your bum? Haha just putting it out there xx

Hey well done ! You must be proud of yourself ! Amazing the difference the heat made ! Maybe I ought to invest ! We’re the trainers the biggest positive difference ??

Thanks hideaway, I definately am. To be honest the trainers were good but not the thing that made the most difference. They were actually a little uncomfortable I maybe should have gone half a size up but I have spade feet I'm sure they will stretch haha

Definately the clothes - lighter breathable tshirt and less restrictive clothes on the legs. I felt like I was running naked compared to what I usually wear 😂 not advocating a naked run by the way but whatever gets you through!

I forgot to add aswell - I really didn't spend that much. I was some seeing some seriously expensive running gear but had to stick to the budget end and it still made a great difference.
