W6R3 After Effects?

Hello everyone, this is my first post but have been reading your posts and getting a lot of helpful advice - thank you!

Just finished the W6R3 and I felt great after every run! I’ve been walking, cycling on my rest days, full of energy. But after my last run on Friday morning, my whole body started aching - flu like but no fever. I’ve had a rest day today, slept for hours and still feeling unwell. Is this normal? Have I overdone it?

Don’t want to worry you, but is it coronavirus. Not everyone gets a temperature but many people just feel very exhausted. You should probably not exercise until you’ve recovered and should consider isolating.

Hi there, thank you, I’ll rest until recovered. Don’t think it is Coronavirus though (I think I had it before starting this programme - fever 4 days followed by 3 weeks of dry cough and shortness of breath).

Sounds like classic corona virus symptoms to me.

The virus can have long lasting effects that can affect your performance, possibly for months to come.

Any exercise stresses our bodies, as do illnesses, so take care and don't do too much.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, before you go on to week 7 make sure that you don't have any aches or flu like symptoms, if they do continue

don't run and contact your doctor.

Thank you AlMorr 💪💪💪! I can’t believe I’m actually a runner! Loving it!

I will rest until I recover but really want to go and run already!
