I was thinking of every excuse under the sun today not to go out. Maybe I should leave and extra rest day after added exertion on Saturday, ooh itβs snowing, Iβll leave it to tomorrow......then the sun came out, then I thought if I leave it Iβll probably feel the same in the morning, so off I trotted (plodded in reality).
And of course afterwards I was so glad I beat those pesky demons ππ€πΌ Now on the couch with an ice pack on my Achilles (I do this after every run at the mo), playing catch up on what you lovely lot have been up to.
P.s. The next run is the one I got to before I ended up on the IC, so bit of a nemesis run. I will be positive about it though, and kick itβs a**e into touch!
Happy running folks π

My word well done...there was me thinking bit cold out there. And there was you looking at snow...well done. (I am a Northerner who has lived down South too long.) You are so going to crack this. π Right with you. Take care and we will watch out for your wintery posts. π
Well done for getting out there and smashing it. πββοΈI see itβs rain at home and so snow with you is a bigger challenge but glad sun came out and the Achilles is bearing up . The mental challenge is one you have already overcome so donβt even dwell on it. Just get lots of oxygen into those muscles at warm up and keep it steady ππ
I did the same. Spent a sunny morning doing boring stuff, then decided I really had to get out before lunch only to be greeted by hail storms! I'm afraid I went back to the couch π.
Anyway, just been out for what I thought was a terrible run - cold, windy, no energy in the tank, only for strava to inform me I've got a new PB! Who am I to argue. π€·ββοΈ
Well done for getting out there, those pesky gremlins can be pretty darn convincing at times π especially combined with snow βοΈ π₯Ά Good luck for the next one, get its butt kicked πͺππΆx
Well done Wenderwoo. Yopu've kicked another run into touch and done the same thing to those darn pesky gremlins, so a double well done. All being well it looks like you're going to smash this C25K thing, all the best for the next one.
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 6, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, I am sure you won't go to the IC after running run 1 of week 7, it's just the same length as run 3 of week 6, well done on running it in the snow. π ππΎ
Great, you won the demon battle. Lay your kit out now with a note of dat, time, route ready for your next run so you just go and do it. Good luck and happy running
Well done for getting out there + smashing it! ππ
Weathers meant to warm up in the next couple of days so you'll be fine for your "nemesis run" then there's no stopping you. Go for it, you got this. πββοΈπββοΈπ
