I’ve just finished my very first run. The first run unfortunately fell just as I was going up a hill (this area is all hills) and I didn’t think I was going to make it, but the other runs were flatter and easier. I can’t wait for Monday for the next one.

Week 1 Run 1
Congratulations on starting C25K with run 1 of week 1 and welcome to the forum, just take all the runs slowly, drink plenty of water the day before you run and a little before, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 1.
Well done! The first run is always the hardest - so great that you've done it. So much more great milestones to hit in the future. One run at a time
Hi Well done I am both overweight and unfit and when I started this at start of lockdown just doing that first run was fearful, but I did it, you have done it and you can take it at your own pace. You can do this you really can.
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Repeat any workout that you did not fully complete, before moving on.
Enjoy your journey.
