2 months , 27 runs, 9 weeks , tired legs, doubting thoughts but I have done it ......

It's done, couch to 5k was a small thought during isolation to get me off the couch.

It's been enjoyable, surprising, hard work, frustrating, brilliant and ultimately has got me off the couch and into running.

Please spread the word, keep on running , don't ever give up and reap the benefits of the positive health pathway we are on.

Run well and keep positive alaways ...

Any ideas of what to do next will be gladly received ...

Thanks

So now it's time to think about keeping up the exercise and what shape that will take .

It's easy to lose focus once the structure of C25K is over but I cannot emphasise enough how important consolidating is. Some people including myself repeated week 9 for a while, there is also Nike Run Club which has some great and inspiring coached runs.

One thing that really helps is using an app like Strava and doing the same run each time but stopping at 30 minutes then seeing how your pace and distance improves. I've knocked 40 seconds per Kilometre off my pace by doing this since I graduated in January, that's not really trying it's just as my fitness is improving. Seeing this happen every week really motivates me to keep going and getting better.

Congratulations and enjoy your achievement :-)

don’t forget also that you get endorphins and produce melatonin which is the body’s natural protection against free radicals but you also need a good dark night sleep to repair. Have many healthy years to come and checkout on youtube Resonance Beings of Frequency. it’s a long programme and all the important info is at the end x
