Tried to do the 25 minute run today and really struggled, had to stop for walking breaks 4 times as my legs were aching.
Its definitely a mental thing but just not been feeling motivated at all, has anyone else experienced this around now in the programme? How do I get out of this funk?

Some runs are just tough. You say your legs are aching, do I wonder if you're doing any other strengthening exercises and if you're drinking enough water? Good luck.
I would say leave at least a couple of days before your next run and if you want to complete W6r3 again do the week again. Many people doing this repeat at least one week. As a fellow lincolnite I did my 25 min run in woods to get away from the wind🤪
If it were purely a mental thing, then your legs would not be aching.
Do you stretch after every run, as recommended in the guide to the plan?
Do you drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluids each and every day, as recommended in the guide to the plan?
Can you speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run?.........if not, you are going too fast.
Are you eating a good balanced diet and sleeping well?
The mental aspect is easy if the physical is not too demanding and the physical is much easier if you prepare well. Many new runners expect to add on this hard physical exercise to their lives without taking account of the impact that it has on the rest of their lives, nor the fact that the rest of their lives impacts their running.
Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.
