So happy with my progress! Although I’ve only lost like 3lbs so far, I think I need to up the diet side of things, but I’m so pleased with my progress I genuinely didn’t think I’d get this far!!

Well done Lolsytom, you’re getting there! You may not lose weight purely by doing C25K as the amount of running we do doesn’t really use up enough calories but you’ll certainly feel better for doing it which, in my case anyway, always makes eating sensibly more easy to do! It must be the endorphins! Good luck with the rest of the plan!

Well done, keep going. You will probably find you start to lose weight as your runs get towards week 7 of C25k. That was my experience. If you’ve not done do already I would recommend buying a smart watch. I bought a Fitbit and it really helps me keep track of my steps, heart rate and calories burnt. You are doing an amazing job so keep it up!

Great idea! I’ve been toying with the idea to be honest. I think that’s just persuaded me even more!! Thanks.

Congratulations on building up your fitness AND losing 3 pounds! They say you shouldn't lose more than a pound a week and if youre just starting week 6 I'd say that's an impressive weight loss over a short period of time! Managing to lose some and maintain is much more important to health than losing loads quickly but unsustainably and putting it all back on in a few months. I'd say you're doing amazingly 😊

Ahhh thank you so much. What a lovely positive message. That’s really made me feel good. I agree, making little changes is better than a crash diet, meaning I will only put it back on and quickly when I come to eat “normally” again. Thank you! I wish you all the best ☺️
