So I started couch to 5k back in January 2019 I completed W9 R2 and then never went for that final run. I then started running again later in 2019 and again done two 30 min runs and then never done a third to tick off that W9 R3. Tried again at the very end of the year and gave up after 1 run.
So now it's 2020 the gym is closed and I started again. Decided to start from week 3 as I was semi fit from hiit workouts at the gym. Got to W5 R3 and had to remind myself of how amazing I felt the first time I did it. The mental barrier came crushing down and I went on to complete a 5k distance in 36mins, I then ran a second 5k and today I just completed my third.
I haven't followed the plan and ticked all the boxes this time but to me I finally completed 3 30min runs within a 7 day period.
Now to just keep it up and not let it slide again 🙈
