This morning was my 10th consolidation/4th post-injury run.
My legs felt a bit angsty for the first part of the run, which made me feel a little nervous about how the run was going to pan out. They were still protesting after spending most of yesterday in a crouched position as I weeded the garden π. I really should have stretched them out last night before bed, but I was so sleepy π΄.
On the whole, my shins (post-shin splints) are behaving themselves so far. I'm now on just one walk interval and my run sections are getting longer. Although there is still a way to go before I hit that magic 30 minutes again, I have learned to be patient over the course of my C25k journey. I know I can do it now and that I will get back to it eventually. I have learned to embrace my inner snail π and tortoise π’ along the way.
