How do I protect my knees?
Start with the basics Dee does the resting help? It may.....
If not support straps easily purchased on line.
Are your shoes cushioning your running enough?
Can you try a change of surface to see if it helps?
I know notice it when doing certain stretches. I'm fine otherwise! How do I know if my shoes are doing their job? They're proper running shoes. I evening had my running style videoed and trainers and insoles to measure but this was some time ago now! They seem fine to me. Tricky to run a different route at the minute but I could give that a go when lockdown is lifted.
So many typos sorry! Tired!
Typos work in Wales π we know no different, I mean some of our places haven't even a solitary vowel in their name π
π€£ but as a teacher it doesn't look good! π€¦πΎββοΈ
I was refraining from mentioning you perhaps should know better π but then I thought.. .. sleep deprivation is a cruel form of torture π¬
Aww it's ok. Tbh I've had the best day today. My husband took one for the team and did the night shift and morning shift today so I've had the most sleep I've had since probably Christmas! π I've been on a high all day! It was more posting literally as I was coming home from the run and jammy fingers were clearly not working!
Husband medal on order I hope π these kiddie critters definitely are easy when shared π
I guess Dee just put it down to one of those mystery twinges, see how it is after your next outing, may be you've turned slightly awkwardly or jarred it a little?
I had a little knee niggle sometimes as I went through the programme. I bought a knee support cuff and used that for most of the programme. I was mindful of it and made sure I was going slow and drinking a lot of water, even on rest days. It just went away on its own after a while. I havenβt needed it since before graduation. So hopefully itβs just the body getting with the programme too. π€β€οΈ
Squats? Knee bone connected to the hip bone and all that ... ! Hard to know but worth asking a physio
