Running shoes advice

Advice please - due to the current climate I'm ordering running shoes online. I've opted for the Brooks Asteria due to overpronation, need support. What is their sizing like? I've read they are very true to size. I'm normally a size 5.5-6 so was thinking of ordering a size 6.5 or a 6 Does this sound about right? TIA 😊

Sounds about right...I'm a 9.5 shoe and a 10.5 trainer...but they'll still need trying on ... it all depends on their returns policy though. I've just ordered some Asics and they have a 90 day policy so it'll give me a good chance to test them out and return them if they are pants!

Thanks. I've read these particular ones are very true to size and would never normally buy shoes online but needs must right now

I have had a couple of pairs of Brooks shoes and would think you will be fine with the sizing.

It all depends how much your feet tend to spread. I work on my feet and my feet do not spread much, but some people go as much as two sizes over for running shoes.

Thanks, I've ordered a 6.5 and pray they will fit! I work on my feet too as a massage therapist. I have some size 7 Nike at the minute but feel they're too big, my feet move about too much which annoys me as I ruptured my plantar fascia a few years back so need support. Thanks for the advice 👍

Nikes, like Brooks, tend to be fairly broad fitting and well sized, but I have never had Nikes, so can't comment on relative sizing.

Well fingers crossed because I'm excited to run in them! 😆
