Week 5 completed!

Really struggled today. Had to take the dog with me again, although he was much better behaved than last time! I went back to using my footpath as we now have to keep dogs on lead in the parks now (and mine is not great at the best of times on a lead - so no hope whilst running, even with my little waist attachment! Started off well - but I kept longing to hear Jo's voice telling me I had hit a mile stone (seemed forever between hearing from her!). Finally got into my stride and my earphones ran out of battery 2 mins from the end. Never mind, I thought. I'll just turn up the volume and listen out loud - however, accidentally hit pause without realising and was running for ages until I realised my time wasn't going down! Pressed play and carried on to the end.

I don't know how long I ran for - but it was definitely more than 20 mins! So quite chuffed in the end! I was planning to get another app running today to start to work out how far i'm actually running for these longer runs. But it takes me so long to get ready setting up my headphones, setting up my music, then getting C25K going on my phone, I've almost lost the will already without adding something else to the mix! Any recommendations? I was thinking Strava.

Well done! 😁

Strava is probably the favourite, followed by runkeeper. The free version has all you need to track and monitor your progress as you start going further 👍🏻
