Well. That was awful! To anyone I passed they probably thought I was trying to escape a man person and having a panic attack whilst I ran.
I just couldn’t get my breathing under control! I very very nearly stopped. I even checked how lo was left (twice).
The route I took was more of a long incline, and I was running slightly faster than usual (didn’t realise until strava told me). I hit 4.6km. Really want to get that 5k!

Few people get the 5k in the 30 mins. The challenge is really running non-stop for 30 minutes. But super well done for completing what sounds like a tough run! Great job. Maybe slow it down for your next run and the breathing will be easier. You’re hopefully in this for the long haul so plenty of time for speed and distance! Well done again.
I think you need to forget about distance for now and just concentrate on keeping going for the amount of time. If you are struggling like that, you really need to slow down. You really, really don't want an injury! Hardly anyone runs 5k in 30 minutes when they graduate c25k, in fact I still haven't done it but I'm old. Get to the end of the program, do your consolidation runs, then think about running 5k, in whatever time it takes you. As you continue to get fitter and stronger and used to the distance, your time will improve. I promise 😊
