Have just completed my final Week 8 run and am chuffed to bits. Have felt a bit flat the last few days (Hubby is shielding; last left the house on 21 March & is struggling this week) and these longer runs and the discovery of food podcasts to listen to whilst running have really
lifted my spirits.
Started the day with a 30 minute Bodytone class with one of the PT’s from my gym and it was great to be working out with in a group again, if only on Zoom.
Waited for the rain to ease off for my R3 which involves lots of puddle dodging and battling a pretty brisk wind head in for the last 2k but enjoyed the run and am thrilled to be heading into graduation week on Friday.
Baked some Welsh cakes this morning and will sit and enjoy a couple with my celebratory cuppa! Onwards toward the finish line 🏃🏽♀️
So, a productive day all round and still hard to believe how far I’ve come in such a short time. Stick with it, this programme works!
