Wk1 run 3, struggling

Just finished run 3 of wk1. To be honest running 3 times in a week is a positive as I havnt done any exercise for years. The first 2 runs I done the same route. For run 3 I changed the route and it was more uphill and i did struggle. Is it wise to keep changing routes( mixing it up) or better to stick to the same one?

Maybe at the start, stick to your normal route..let the legs begin to find their happy pace?

Hills are great as you move on, but for now, keep it simple.. slow and steady and just enjoy these learning processes:)

Well done you!

I personally found a route that I knew I wouldn’t complete at the start and stuck with that route. As I got further into it I felt it was motivating to see that I got closer to the finish before the end of the session if that makes sense?
