Hello I’m on week 7 run 1
I can’t do it without our stopping once or twice just for a few seconds each time I don’t know if I should keep going or go back a week
Any ideas anyone please

Well done you gave it a go.
The advice in the guide to the plan is that you only need to repeat a run if you do not complete it......there is not much point in going back as it is the 25 minutes you need to get the better of, not some easier challenge.
If it is only a few second, then you are extremely close to completion, so just slow down to the easy conversational pace described in the guide to the plan.

You can do this.
Thank you I think it’s mental thing might try a pod cast to keep me distracted
When I get that feeling “I can’t go on”, I slow down even more for a couple of minutes, and then after this rest; get back to it.
I think that running so slowly (I could probably walk faster) breaks the psychological barrier, so I can speed up again when I am ready. BUT, I ran the whole thing, right?
You are not alone, and you have done so well to get this far. I am sure that you will do it but I think there are some days which are tougher than others. After feeling happy to complete run 3 in week 6, I had to give up half-way through on my first attempt at week 7, run 1. I was tired before I started and even though it was 7am it was too humid and hot to run. I also hadn’t warmed up enough with my stretches. I tried it again today when it was cooler and I made sure I was well rested, had drunk lots of water and went out when it was cooler and I did it. It was hard work physically but my biggest barrier was psychological I think. Get some good rest and try it again on a suitable day. You can do it!
