How to billed speed

Hi if you do smaller runs can you build speed at the moment I just do 5k in 50 minutes I want to start building speed but not sure how to do it

Start running further - do the bridge to 10k plan.

Do hills.

Have to be bit careful as had a ankle op in October and it still a bit sore

Try the Stepping stones podcasts with Laura, they are pace, speed and stamina, not done them for a while, that may be the wrong order, not sure if you are doing C25K.

5k in 50mins? Thats my current goal! I'm currently doing 3.4 k in 34 minutes and trying to build up to it. Must say that I seem to get a little faster every time I go out - I think you'll naturally get faster so rest and repeat!
