Does anyone know if I can use couch to 5k alongside any other app that tracks how far you run?

Hi, I use Strava to capture all the analysis such as distance, speed, incline, etc.
When you use Strava do you put it in as a run or walk ? I’m only just starting so I know it’s combined with other walking
I select RUN. It automatically compares your speed over the same distance/terrain, so your results will improve when you start running more and walking less.
Thank you
I use RunKeeper on Free Run mode! Just turn on the C25K app and then your running tracker and off you go! Will track your pace, distance, route, etc, and won’t interfere with the C25K app at all ☺️
Works fine in conjunction with Fitbit and its app. Realise this may not be helpful directly to your question but could help others.
I use the free version of MapMyRun on my phone. 😄
I used Strava once I got to the 30 minute runs. I didn’t see much point in having it until then. You don’t want to be thinking of speed while you are doing the programme, just concentrate on running the times specified in the app or podcast and getting each run done.
Enjoy c25k; it really works.
I see where you are coming from Dexy. Still, while you may not want to focus on speed, Strave is good to let you know the distance you cover while running/walking/running. Overtime it gives you a better understanding of how long the 5K really is.
E.g. I currently do only 3.48K a day following the W3 programme. Thanks to Strave I know that in the future I will either need to change my route to a longer one or run some of the parts twice to sum it up to 5K.
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

Enjoy your journey.
Thanks everyone 👍
I use strava, but try not to worry about pace. For me, it's more if a diary as I try to take a selfie every run and seeing how far I've come as those trails get longer.

You can keep runs private and add privacy setting around your home/workplace if you want to (I do this as it's just for me).
