Welcome to the forum.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes a link to a post about running shoes.

I am not quite sure what your question was.

Enjoy your journey.

Hi. I got to week 8 without buying running shoes. I got a gait analysis done at my local independent shop (which you can do virtually on the brookes running shoes website btw). Once I had proper running shoes it made a big difference to me.

Hiya...yes I did but they were uncomfortable..so I went to my old faithful pair.and it worked a treat...I guess I was curious if these hyped up shock absorbers trainers type was good..

Difficult to know sometimes without trying but they are not cheap if you choose the wrong ones 🤦🏻‍♀️ As long as what you are wearing are comfortable and suit you 😊
