Having extracted the eldest teendaughter from her bedcave, she actually put on trainers and for the 3rd time stepped out of the door, with dare I say minimum faffage omg.
I say it with optimism but I think knowing her mindset she might actually get to week 9 let's see ππ

Fantastic achievement - on all counts!! Especially getting a teenager out of their bedroom, but to also put on trainers and run!! I take my hat off to you Imc50, and to your daughter, well done! Here's to week 9......
I have suggested C25k to my teenage daughter, but I've had a definite no to that, however she is now doing yoga with me a few times a week and enjoying it, so that's a start π§πΌββοΈβΊοΈ

Yoga's pretty cool DD I'm amazed by the flexibility of some people π
I suggested C25K to my daughter yesterday. Her reply? ' Mum if you mention C25K once more......I don't need a programme...I can run 5k already....' and to give her her due she can, and she's already up and back from her run this morning. We did do yoga last Thursday together which was nice and I think we will probably run together at some stage during this lockdown. It's nice to have them home.
My daughter and I are doing our yoga after our dog walk this morning. I'm really pleased she's enjoying it and hope it's not just a lockdownfad and I can encourage her to stick with it. I think I'll introduce her to 'Yoga with Adriene' this morning. π§πΌββοΈπ§πΌββοΈβΊοΈ
Very strange times... and teenagers donβt cease to amaze me... mine is happy in her cave too normally, but is suddenly getting a little stir crazy. Maybe itβs like younger kids who suddenly need to toilet on a road trip as soon as youβve passed the last services for 40 miles π€£
Great job... hope youβre right and sheβs in this for the 9 weeks. Happy running.
Ohhhhhh definitely so I couldn't agree more, I'd have followed you in and left her sunbathing, the sun and my fair delicate skin have a love hate relationship or to be precise the evil UV rays π₯΅ππ« eeeeeeeek
How great that she's started running. I wish I'd started years ago because I realise how much of a difference it would've made to my life. You must be chuffed!
