I felt so good following run 1 however it felt hard today. My legs felt heavy all the way round, I persevered and remembered that it isn't always a smooth trajectory and running can be a bit up and down (No pun intended 😉). Here's to the next run. Happy Saturday everyone.

P.S. saw a beautiful Heron too slow to take a photo so maybe next time.

Well done.

Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration.

As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5-3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as explained in the guide to the plan.

Thank you, I think I need to drink more before I set off, at the moment I only have a quick drink before I set off. I will drink more next time and give myself a bit more time from getting up to setting off. Best wishes

No, you need to drink more in the 24 hours before a run, as stated in the guide to the plan.

What you drink immediately before a run will have very little influence on your general hydration during a half hour workout.
