Stepping Stones seems to be working!!!

Following on from my consolidation runs I thought I’d try to improve my times a bit and as such, I have been using the Stepping Stones podcasts from Audiofuel. The first run in Sunday was 8:09 min/km, the second run on Tuesday was 7:54 and this mornings was 7:21 min/km, so it seems to be working. 😄

Only saw 1 other runner this morning and 2 postmen. Came home and stretched and showered and put clean PJs on, ate my breakfast and I have now settled down on settee, with my old girl Mimi, ready to watch some more Librarians series 3. I have my Loki asleep in the windowsill, little Roma in her bed and my Luna upstairs in my bed. All peaceful here at the mo.

Hope you are all keeping fit and well and still running 💪🤞

Your cats are gorgeous limberlou!😍🐱 I completely ❤️ cats and aspire to being a full time crazy cat lady one day!😂 We only have one at the moment, but what a wonderful 'one' he is - a black rescue called Nelson and he is, as Samuel Johnson once said, 'a very fine cat indeed.'

Anyway, in response to your running - wow! Those podcasts are really working aren't they? Really well done!👍💪🙂

My two black ones are rescues, Loki is a Snow Bengal/ Birman cross and very neurotic. But the boss is my tabby girl - she rules them all with an iron paw!!!

That’s great progression... and what can be better than a couch day when you’ve earned it before breakfast?

I used them before and the speed one nearly killed me so I am going to do the stepping stones one first a few times till it’s comfortable, then the stamina one for a while and attempt the speed one sometime in the future 😩

Sounds like a good plan, we seem to be getting a bit lazy and walk more than run but go out for a bit longer
