Welcome and great job getting started. That run remains the toughest run I’ve ever done, even my half marathon felt better! I ran it too fast, or as my wife likes to say, I just had to be a man! Slowing down helps a lot in that it makes it easier, and develops your body in the right way for endurance running. Your fitness will rise a lot faster than you’d think too.
