New shoes and an enjoyable run!

Well, I bought new shoes just before graduating but just couldn’t seem to bring myself to wear them! Today it felt right, lovely morning felt good so put them on and set off. I ran for 35 minutes! Never run that long before. Still super slow but I don’ mind any more, just being out there and putting one foot in front of the other is enough. I still have to pinch myself to remind myself that I am a runner. Tia came along too and today had to have her on the lead all the time as several forest walkers have complained about dogs off lead, but she always stays by me but twice today other dogs ran up to her growling and barking, one nearly had me in a bush, but I still enjoyed it so much today, breathing was better than usual and no aches and pains.

I love this challenge!

Ooh the new shoes got an outing! Good to hear that they were comfy and that you managed a longer run! :)

oh that does sound lovely, despite the dog problems, new shoes, new distance, and enjoying yourself too 🤗

New shoes for a new month! And, 35 minutes 👏👏👏Well done.

It’s so annoying when you do the right thing and keep your dog on a lead while other dogs run around wreaking havoc.

So that is a run and arm workout today 🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏃🏼‍♀️
