Hi, I cant believe I have got this far, even though it has taken a bit longer than 8 real weeks (started end of Jan). Could only just about do the short runs in weeks 1, 2 and 3, now it feels as if I could just keep going well beyond 28 mins. One week of my runs was even at high altitude with parts that were really steep, during a half term break in a ski resort (1500m) , and although that was tough, I still managed it. Prior to this programme, I had not done any real running (except for a bus or train!) since school days.
Will be starting Week 9 runs tomorrow (1st April) and not afraid of those at all.
Thanks for a great programme. My only complaint was that the phone app was useless (on my phone at least - it kept crashing), so I switched to the podcasts, which were anyway much better, as they had the music with them, rather than the silence in the segments on the phone app.

Well done - so nearly there now!😀 I think many of us have come to running from a similar place (!) and been amazed at the progress that can be made by sticking with and believing in the program. I 'graduated' 4 and a half years ago now and running has become such an important part of my life, not just for my physical health but also my mental wellbeing! Sounds as though you may also be in it for the long haul...good luck!👍
Well done it's a n amazing program isn't it? I just finished week 8 too. We are 3 runs away from graduating - 30 minute runs here we come. I'm using the podcast too, love my best mate Laura! x
Well done, let me know when you complete the next 3, and I will do the same. Funnily enough, I also have real training sessions at a gym with a woman called Laura!
