I’ve never used the gym up the road..but today, as we are not permitted to drive somewhere to exercise where I won’t be seen, the sadly empty car park proved to be the perfect place to attempt what I thought would be the impossible three minute run.. Amazingly, it was ok.. it was slow, but I did it.. 🤸🏿♀️
Even though there are so many worries at the moment, and even faced with wind and driving rain, it felt fantastic to have done it.. I’m so grateful to have this programme at the moment..😊

Well done Peggy! Just think by the time you've finished consolidating your runs, we might be able to go back to our old, lovely running routes! But in the mean time - keep it up - you're doing great!
Peggy, run proud 👍 don't you worry about being seen, get out there and just enjoy it and be yourself,
Well done Peggy63, great determination will see you right through this amazing programme, I 👏🏻 your resourcefulness in finding places to run, keep posting 🤗
Good run for you Peggy round the usually busy car park, same with me as well, I went a 9K walk today, part of the walk passes a usually busy leisure centre with the car park full on a Sunday morning, there was not one car in the car park today and passing the leisure centre seemed eerily quite, no sound from the aerobic class, no fast music or shouting from the spin class next door, just silence.
Great job running... sad that the gym is closed, but I’m sure all the members would love to read that someone is getting some good use out of the place still.
Good job Peggy. So many people are fearful of being seen but please be proud of what you are doing. In my 3 years of running, I have never had a negative response. People are either supportive fellow runners, or nonrunners who wish that they could do that (which we now know that they could of course).
Head up, shoulders back, smile on your face and off you go
