I’m back after about 7 weeks of non-running due to a stress fracture in my lower left leg. throughout this time I was doing low impact HIIT (not jumping around but still exhausting!) so upon returning to CT5K, I started back at week 6 run 1 and did spectacularly!
With run 2 finished yesterday (best efforts attached from that run!), I’m aiming to do run 3 tomorrow, depending on how I feel!
Just thrilled to be back running. I hope everyone is heeding the govt advice and keeping well!

first of all, yes I know, this was nearly two months ago and I had minimised impact, secondly, I’m not obsessed by stats, I just use Strava as I’m running and was pleasantly surprised.
I haven’t been for a run since the start of February.
at least take the time to READ the post before bestowing your all-knowing wisdom on us. Cheers 👍🏼
I READ that you had had a stress fracture, commonly caused by the impact of running in new runners......hence the advice on impact reduction.
I READ that you considered your stats spectacular and of enough importance to you to show to all and sundry.........I noted that, by the standards of this forum, your pace is quite fast........hence the advice to keep it slow and steady.
SEVEN WEEKS AGO. I have JUST come back to running. I kept fit by doing LOW IMPACT training.
Jesus Christ if we can’t sing our own praises in here what’s the point?! And I may be “fast” by the standards of the forum, but like I said, I still did other cardio related workouts, and I’m not going from doing nothing to running... Apologies that I’m running at my own comfortable pace and happy about my progress and sharing it 🤨
