Still running...still in Portugal

Well the bad news is we didn’t get home. It sort of feels inevitable that we won’t now. Although EasyJet let me rebook for tomorrow I have little faith in them. Particularly since they still haven’t told me my flight yesterday was cancelled I only found that out by checking before heading to the airport. The good news is I’m still running. I can’t really believe it but there you are. My music went awol this morning so I used a YouTube one which didn’t tell me where I was on my run...you know five mins, half way...one to go etc. I think I preferred that. Not certain yet tbh but I’ll try again tomorrow (ahead of flight home 🤞). There’s worse places to be stranded, but it would be nice to get home. Happy running and keep safe folks.

Oh my gosh, I've missed your earlier posts - how did you get stranded there? Where are you staying?

We’ve been here for a couple of months over winter. Supposed to go home Saturday, but that was cancelled then rebooked for yesterday, that was cancelled too so we are scheduled to fly out tomorrow. I’m not too hopeful, but there are worse places than Portugal to be stranded. And it’s beautiful weather and scenery for running. Every cloud has a silver lining for sure 😉
