Sound of Music

Not sure if I’ve posted this already. I typed it up, but it disappeared. I’m a bit of a technophobe so it’s likely me. So I’ve not been running to music because I was worried it would stop me hearing Michael. But graduated yesterday, so was feeling pretty nifty. I listened to the very beginning of the music on Laura’s run, and not trying to be rude, but it wasn’t for me. So I found an American equivalent and went with that. The music was - fierce. I’m more a Phil Collins, Pavarotti, Rod Stewart listener. But anyhoo I set off with this music. My goodness what a difference music made. Without it, all I hear is my breathing and feeling the trepidation as I head towards the next hill. But this morning my head was full of music. This is the way to run folks! At the end the song ‘it’s a beautiful day’ came on and my heart was fit to burst. It WAS a beautiful day. I felt like Julie Andrews. I just needed to hug the Von Trapp children. Tomorrow will be my last run in this beautiful country (assuming our flight to Scotland takes off). I’ll miss the weather and the people. Hopefully I’ll find I still have the same motivation at home. It’s a beautiful country but the weather can never be described as that unfortunately.
