Dear friends, I just wants to thank you for the pleasant time i spend every day reading your posts, that give me the feeling that life goes on and will go on even here...

In Italy, as you certainly know, our daily activities are interrupted because the infections are growing day by day so we MUST stay at home; any movement that is not absolutely necessary is not allowed so now we really understand how important our usual routines are for our phisical and mental health.

Big running events with over 'whatever number' certainly 10,000 + would be cancelled, I wonder if they would also cancel parkruns.

Yep... parkrun is having cancellations start in some areas. My Japanese isn’t good, but I’m assuming theirs on this list are related parkrun.com/cancellations/

One pm, just heard the news that all indoor events in Ireland with more than a 100 people and outside events with more than 500 people are cancelled, that would mean most parkruns are still on.

Such events are currently advised to not be happening, not banned... so it will be up to individual parkruns or parkrun Ireland centrally to decide. It’s always worth checking for cancellations regardless.

It was, but now it isn’t anymore...a lot of people would like but the government’s answer is NO!

We are a couple of weeks behind Italy in terms of progression but I'm not looking forward to possibly being told not to go out.

Hopefully the restrictions will be lifted in schedule as they prove successful. I’m already plotting how to get a workout in if the UK follows Italy’s lead on this. Not sure I have the will power of this guy though youtube.com/watch?v=TWDTRSc...
