Things have eased a tad since this post in previous years, but the current times are still full of turbulence and worry for so many .
Time though maybe, to take a moment to embrace those that we love , and celebrate in our own ways, the love in our families and friendships?
Have a peaceful day all of you and, just because you cannot be with your Mum or Dad in person., why not take them with you... on a run to think of them, with love
Have a Peaceful Mothering Sunday, all of you .

Happy Mother’s Day to all mums… and for those like myself who have lost theirs, it’s a great time to reflect on how great they were.
I needed this post, as after mum passed I started following the tradition of visiting my mother church, but the virus prevented that, and today I didn’t go either so I was a little lost.
Thank you Oldfloss. I lost my Mum many years ago and don’t have children to pamper me (!) but Mum and the rest of my family, who are all 150 miles away, are never too far away from my thoughts. Have a wonderful day!
I love that quote! I didn’t realise until noon that it was Mothering Sunday (since 3 weeks I don’t have any mums anymore 😢) , but this post made me delve into fond memories!
The surprise Mother’s Day card from my teenage son helped as well.
I think of my mum, most days at some point...usually when I am doing something loopy. She always said I was odd She died aged 95... 2013Yes, our children do us proud. I have been spoiled today x
