Today is Valentine's Day

And for a few folks, this...

Is an opportunity,

That's just too good to miss!

So on this most auspicious day

I need to yell and shout,

How much I just LOVE RUNNNING

And now my secret's out!

I found this very special love

Near on 8 years ago.

From the very day I found it

My passion began to grow.

❤️

Our love's just slow and steady

For us, the way to go.

We know we could go faster,

But we just move with the flow.

❤️

Our relationship 's not easy

We've had our tricky times

But somehow we've got back on track

To find new starting lines.

❤️

Each day, brings some new pleasure

And something new to see,

Just running along , then rambling

It feels so good to me.

❤️

I'd like to share my LOVE with you

But I know YOU'LL find your own,

And one day you may be here, like me

And find YOUR passion's grown.

It's time that I stopped rambling now,

So I just want to say,

Thank you.. yes a half way point... I run to the next village and then on the way back I go through the gate and into the fields towards the sea... Our site opens again on March 1st, so the week after, we will, hopefully. be there and that will be one of my first runs! Its is a beautiful place and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to run there x

Yes was out early at 6.30. And got my Garmin valentines badge. Did 12 min later on in afternoon. Mr D out 8.44 km and came back with a single red rose. The old Romantic 🥰

Aw that is so nice to hear OF! And a lovely surprise this end too that you were thinking of me 😊. I’m fine and repeating C25K at the mo, currently on week 7. I managed to get proximal hamstring tendinitis towards the end of last year, so had to bring it back down to basics. I didn’t know I could be so patient! So I will write a probably very rambling post when I graduate again - it feels very different 2nd time round. Hope you have some nice chocolate or some such to munch on this Valentine’s Day ❤️❤️❤️.
