Now the weather is getting warmer and the distances increase I went to take my hat off on Saturdays run but my earphones kept falling out, does this happen to anyone else or does anyone have any tips to keep them in, not looking forward to running in August with a wooly hat on

Earphones falling out
Have you got a Buff or Buff-like head/neck band? They are ace for holding earphones in and you can tuck the cables in too if they have them. It isn’t a perfect solution but other than buying over the ear or bone conducting headphones I’ve not found an alternative.
I had a similar problem when I started C25K, not helped by my ears getting a bit sweaty (sorry!). I also wasn't happy having 'other external sounds' drowned out as I run on pavements & roads I would like to hear the out of control bus careering towards me if it ever happened! So, I replaced the cheap wired headphones that came free with my phone with a pair of cheap bluetooth bone conducting ones from Amazon. They're brilliant (if a little quiet, but I can hear Laura clearly enough) and I've even taken to wearing them sometimes at home so I can still hear instructions (politely) given to me by my wife!
My brother in law suggested superglue but I use a light weight hair band - this does the job!
The tip I read and use (until I can justify some new Bluetooth bone conducting earphones for my birthday!) is to wrap the cable over the top of your ear before inserting the earphone from the front (if that makes sense) It works for me.
I use over the ear headphones. They were really cheap from China off EBay, but they do the job.
Exactly the same happened to me recently, I’m looking for some sports earphones at the moment, if you feel like spending some money, Bose do some awesome sunglasses with built in speakers, £199 but perfect for August!! 😁
I use cheap bluetooth overear headphones that wrap around the back of my neck. They do the job perfectly, which is a nuisance because I have no excuse to buy bone conductors. 😉
