That didn't feel as easy as R1, but at least it's done now. Approx' 4.5K in the 30 minute running period. My legs knew all about it though!
Still my record of C25K running and not experiencing rain during a run, remains intact. It was cold last night, barely above freezing, hardly a cloud in the sky.
I aim to get out and complete R3 this weekend. I'll try to aim for a dry slot in the weather to complete my full quota of runs in the dry. Considering the February the UK has just experienced, it will be quite an achievement.
I understand next weekend, the leader of our small group has entered us into a fairly local, 5K park run. As the elder statesman of the group, I approach that task with a degree of trepidation.

I have got run 2 Saturday, my theory is run 1 of every week is easiest because it is a bit of excitement to start a new week/ have a new goal, you will probably find the same with the park run, but from what i have read don't go too fast, apparently the adrenalin can kick in and you can get drained of energy before you have made the 1st 1k.
