Set back ,Surpossed to start wk4 today. Injured muscle round the knee .taking 2wk off , which means I'll probably have to start from wk 1 again. My physio told me to get some heel raises in my shoes. Sooo disappointed.😥

I just completed week 9 run 1. My first 30 minute run. Probably a little short of 5K. Anyway, I'm now in pain. Inside of right knee feels bruised. Could hardly walk this morning. Not sure what to do but ice and ibuprofen.

Dont get down Jillb141, runners get injuries, fact of life - and you're a runner. It's just a setback and like life you'll pick yourself up and come back stronger. Main thing with injuries, is always get them sorted, dont come back to soon, you want to avoid long term layoffs which can sabotage you. Good luck, speedy recovery and enjoy your running
